RESPONSIBILITIES
As Field Coordinator, your objective is to ensure the smooth running of the operations in the area. Based in Cox’s Bazar, you will lead and support a very dynamic and multi-skilled team and will guide them in their daily activities.
You main responsibilities include the following:
– Coordinating ACF country strategy implementation at field level
– Coordinating overall implementation of program at field level
– Managing the team at field level on site and/or remotely depending on access
– Representing ACF and liaise with regional authorities, UN, NGOs at field and regional level
– Facilitating the coordination system with the Coordination Office
– Ensuring reporting and communication
– Managing security at field level
– Contributing to gender equality mainstreaming
REQUESTED PROFILE
First and foremost, we are looking for a true leader, passionate about guiding the teams towards common objectives and supporting them through the possible hurdles they encounter. Other necessary skills and experiences are listed down below:
– Experience in external representation, external coordination, you have worked within multi-partner consortium and with local partners
– Significant experience in advanced programme cycle management, including programme planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
– Security and Access management knowledge and experience
– Basic financial skills – budget management, donor reporting, accountability and compliance
– Pragmatic and result-oriented, creative and out of the box thinker
– Ability to work fully in autonomy and resilience to stress
– Strong flexibility and capacity to adapt quickly to fast pace complex dynamics and changing contexts
– Strong cultural awareness and experience working in conflict sensitive areas
– Ability to manage competing priorities and large size and scope of programs, operations
– Experience in team management in multi-cultural context requiring strong communications skills and interest in capacity building
– Fluency in English written/spoken is compulsory.
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY
Contract:
– 12 months fixed term contract under French legislation
Compensation and benefits :
– Monthly gross salary from 2450 to 2800 EUR upon experience
– Per diem and living allowance: 572EUR (cf eurocost) net, field paid.
– + 300EUR as country allowance
– + 16% of monthly gross. For non-French citizen for retrocession of retirement and unemployment insurance.
– + child allowance (1500EUR per child / per year up to 6000EUR per year)
Medical coverage:
100% coverage of medical expenses + repatriation insurance.
Leaves and RnR:
– 25 days of paid leaves per year.
– + 20 RnR per year.
– RnR in Thailand every 12 weeks
– Support for transport tickets to the reference recovery area. (Thailand)
Training :
– Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge ©.
– Technical trainings at HQ or regional level (averagely 1 per year).
– Intermission Workshop once a year.
– Participation to external trainings costs upon eligibility of the request.
