About: Action Against Hunger
Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director – Operations, your mission will be to ensure the coordination of ACF’s interventions in its area of intervention.
More specifically, your responsibilities will be to:
Coordinate the implementation of ACF’s country strategy in its area of intervention
Coordinate the entire implementation of programs in the field
Manage the teams in its area of intervention (direct supervision of 6 people and indirect supervision of 10 people)
Facilitate good relations with the coordination teams
Represent ACF and ensure relations with partners, authorities, United Nations agencies and NGOs in its area of intervention
Ensure reporting and communication
Manage the safety and security of the base

Profile:
You hold a BAC+5 in a field related to humanitarian action: project management, technical training related to one of our intervention sectors, human resources management, financial management, etc.
You have at least 2 years of professional experience in the field within international NGOs, including project cycle management, management, logistics and financial management, team and security management.
You have very good writing skills, good analysis skills of the security and humanitarian context, as well as planning and organization. You are proficient in the Office Pack.
You are autonomous and adaptable in a multicultural environment.
Working in an international environment, you are fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
Conditions of employment
Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months until 06/30/2025
Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience, including 13th month
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 767 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 300 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; cover for the ticket with a ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
