Assignment :

Reporting to the Deputy Country Director, your role will be to ensure the agility of financial management and the quality of accounting in order to support the mission strategy in compliance with the ACF management framework and local legislation.
More specifically, your missions will be as follows:
Contribute to the definition of the mission strategy.
Provide financial and budgetary input to coordination discussions.
Advise other departments on their financial and budgetary needs.
Guarantee the quality of the mission’s accounting.
Ensure the correct configuration of the accounting software.
Ensure the correct entry of accounting, extra-accounting and expatriate data in the accounting software.
Guarantee the optimization of the mission’s cash management.
Define and update the cash management and movement procedure adapted to the local context, propose alternatives in the event of a change in the context, authorize and organize fund transfers on the bases.
Develop and manage the budgetary and financial management system.
Promote and ensure collaboration and financial and budgetary coordination with the mission’s partners.
Prevent and manage fraud and corruption situations.
Supervise and support the Finance team in capital and be the functional manager of Finance managers on the bases.

Profile:

With a Master 1 and/or Master 2 degree in finance, management or accounting, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within an international NGO. You have experience in budget management, on multiple projects with a large volume.
You are recognized for your organizational skills, your rigor and your flexibility. You are comfortable managing a complex financial system.
You have proven team management skills and a great problem-solving ability.
You are fluent in French, both orally and in writing. Ideally, you are fluent in English and are able to write official documents. Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months
Salary: Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 675 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 300 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
