Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :
Within the Logistics and Information Systems Department, the General Services division ensures the general operation of the Action Against Hunger headquarters (4 floors, 300 workstations), by providing, maintaining, monitoring and following up on equipment, materials, supplies and services. Under
the supervision of the General Services Manager, you will work as part of a team to contribute to the general operation of the establishment! You will also support the General Services Manager on fund projects.
Your main missions will be as follows:
– Do you like helping those around you? That’s good! You provide daily support to users, welcome, inform and support service providers, stakeholders and any new arrivals within ACF. You also ensure the production of internal communication for the department.
– You are responsible for the proper operational and administrative application of subcontracted service contracts in your area and carry out the tasks associated with these services (purchase requests, quote requests, etc.).
-You manage purchases (supplies, furniture and equipment) within your scope of action. In conjunction with suppliers, you establish technical specifications, carry out calls for tender, and conduct market analyses, in accordance with purchasing thresholds and procedures with a view to optimizing prices. You also monitor, receive and control goods.
-You monitor and control the implementation of safety, hygiene and security procedures and instructions.
-You contribute to the operation and improvement of the department, in particular by proposing process improvements! In order to improve the department’s activity and the working conditions of employees, you carry out studies and implement material and functional solutions.
Profile:
You are preparing a Bac+2/3 type training in Administrative Management or in General Services Management.
Voluntary, organized and responsive, you are recognized for your interpersonal skills as well as for your analytical and synthesis skills!
Versatile, autonomous and rigorous, you have a sense of responsibility and monitoring of procedures.
You are very motivated by the humanitarian sector and you have a good command of the Office Pack. Fluency in English is a plus!
Conditions of employment
Status: 12-month professionalization or apprenticeship contract
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Desired schedule: 3 weeks at headquarters – 1 week at school
Salary conditions:
Remuneration based on the legal minimum (percentage of the minimum wage depending on age and level of training) over 13 months
21 days of RTT (prorated to the time spent in the organization)
Health and welfare coverage: 80% covered by ACF
Transport: 50% covered by the package between home and the workplace
Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association for a value of 8 euros

Teleworking: Open to all and from the metropolitan area, our teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring a mandatory time spent at the association’s headquarters, and allows you to choose to exercise the rest of this time fully or partially in telework. To this end, a mandatory presence at headquarters of 20 days per month has been defined for this position. Times spent at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events and 2 days of mandatory presence during the first 6 weeks when you join the team.
