RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Logitics Deprtement of the Yemen mission to ensure the strategic objectives of the mission are met through ensuring the proper functioning of the supply chain and the necessary aticipation of foreseen chellanges asoosciated to the planned activities.
You will be in charge of :
– Coordinate logistics at national level considering the country is largely split into 2 (north and south) with a lesser presence in North
– Provide for the recruitment and training of all employees and promote career development in a view of maximizing retention of ACF Yemen Logisitics department talents
– Collaborate with headquarters in the management of international transport, especially in the management of Decentralized Stock
– Promote, develop and ensure collaboration and coordination in logistics with the mission’s partners
– Prevent and manage fraud and corruption in a context where remote management is largely used
– Manage the Logistics team in capital and be support/technical Manager for Logistics Manager in the bases
REQUESTED PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business, Engineering or another related field. Master in Logistics, Humanitarian Studies or similar an asset. Minimum 2-years’ experience in field logistics coordination and security management in a Humanitarian Aid organization. The postholder should be fluent English speaker. Arabic is an asset. Practical experience in logistics management and coordination within the field of supply chain management, fleet/transport management and asset management. Proven ability in translating analysis and evaluation into operational planning and strategic decision-making. Excellent team management skills, good listener, high communication skills.
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY
– 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2450 to 2800EUR upon experience
– Monthly per diem and living allowance: 730$ net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance: 450EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
