Assignment :

Under the supervision of the Country Director, the Head of the Logistics Department will have the role of guaranteeing the logistics performance of the country office, and coordinating its implementation to provide the best support to the programs.

More specifically, your missions will be as follows:

Contribute to the definition of the country office strategy.
Coordinate logistics at national level.
Manage international transport in conjunction with headquarters.
Guarantee the relevance and manage the implementation of the country office security policy.
Contribute to the implementation of the country office security policy.
Promote and ensure collaboration and logistical coordination with country office partners.
Prevent and manage situations of fraud and corruption.
Supervise and support the Logistics team in the capital and be the functional manager of the Logistics Managers on the bases.

Profile:

Holder of higher education (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in logistics management, you have successful experience of at least 3 years as a logistics coordinator in an NGO.
You have a good knowledge of the donors ECHO, SIDA, BHA, CDCS, GFFO, CIAA, GAC.
You have excellent command of the Office pack. Knowledge of Link would be an undeniable asset.
You are recognized for your ability to manage priorities, your availability and your diplomacy. Your excellent interpersonal skills and your rigor allow you to successfully coordinate, supervise and train your teams as well as consolidate relationships with suppliers.
Fluency in written and spoken French is essential, as well as good writing skills. English is a plus.

Terms of employment

6 months of fixed-term contract under French law.
Gross monthly starting salary from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience.
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 767 euros (see eurocost) net, paid on the ground.
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year) 16% of the gross monthly salary of retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.
Transport and accommodation: Coverage for travel and collective accommodation
Medical Coverage: 100% of coverage for health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year, 20 RTT per year and 215 euros paid during the recovery period
