Assignment :

Under the responsibility of the Country Director, you will have to guarantee the logistical performance of the country office and coordinate its implementation to provide the best support to the programs.

More specifically, your missions will be as follows:

Contribute to the definition of the country office strategy.
Develop the logistics strategy for the country office (purchasing, transport, storage, vehicle fleet, etc.).
Coordinate logistics at national level.
Manage international transport in conjunction with headquarters.
Guarantee the relevance and manage the implementation of the country office security policy, contribute to the implementation of the country office security policy.
Promote and ensure collaboration and logistical coordination with country office partners.
Prevent and manage situations of fraud and corruption.
Alert the Country Director in the event of a situation of fraud and corruption and implement corrective actions.
Supervise and support the Logistics team in the capital and be the functional manager of the Logistics Managers on the bases.
Supervise functional teams (Logistics Managers, Base Logisticians).

Profile:

Coming from higher education in logistics, you already have significant experience of at least 4 years in humanitarian logistics, including two as Department Manager or logistics coordinator in the field with ACF or another NGO of similar size.
You have developed real expertise in humanitarian logistics.
You are able to manage the maintenance of structures and the security of goods and people.
You are recognized for your managerial abilities. You know how to manage a team in a multicultural context, you are organized and diplomatic. You do not hesitate to delegate when necessary and know how to demonstrate leadership.
You speak French and English and are able to work in a multicultural environment

Conditions of employment
Start date: 06/13/2024
12 months fixed-term contract under French law.
Gross monthly starting salary from 2597 euros to 2968 euros depending on experience.
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 729 euros (see eurocost) net, paid on the ground.
Monthly context allowance: 300 euros.
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year) 16% of gross monthly salary for retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.
Transport and accommodation: Travel support and collective accommodation.
Medical Coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance.
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year, 20 RTT per year and 215 euros paid during the recovery period.
