Mission :

Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will support and accompany the new Logistics Department Manager in taking up their position. You will provide mentoring by ensuring good logistics performance and coordination at the mission level, in order to provide the programs with optimal support. You will also be responsible for ensuring the autonomy of the Logistics Department Manager in their roles and responsibilities.
In this context, your missions will be to:
Assess the level of knowledge/skills of the Logistics Department Manager
Organize training on the ACF Logistics kit / ACF standards
Organize training on LINK
Provide coaching on the role and responsibility of an ACF Logistics Department Manager
Supervise and support the transversal objective and participate in the preparation and management of the team
Participate in a field visit with the Logistics Department Manager
Carry out reporting

Start date: 20-01-2025

Profile :

You hold a Master 2 in Logistics, International Trade, Commercial Action, or any other related field.
You have at least 6 years of professional experience in the field of logistics or 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, including team management, training and capacity building.
Ideally, you have experience in humanitarian development contexts, unstable/insecure/emergency contexts, and with ACF.
You are able to demonstrate, with concrete examples, experience in security management, remote management and restrictive environments.
You have good interpersonal, writing, negotiation and representation skills, as well as strategic analysis of the humanitarian context and strategic planning.
You have a good command of English and French.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract under French law: 2 months until 03/20/2025
Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience, including 13th month
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 619 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Transport and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; cover for the ticket with a ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
