Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Deputy Regional Director of Operations – Middle East Pool, your missions will be as follows:
Provide support to missions and the pool on the contractual monitoring of programs and knowledge of donor rules
Support missions and the pool desk in the use of program monitoring tools Monitor and facilitate the reporting of monthly APRs, ensure that they are archived and transmit them to the Operational Technical Referents
Validate the half-yearly and annual compilation of quantitative data made by the mission
In conjunction with the other Program Support Officers, develop internal control of the quality of reporting and produce recommendations for use by missions, particularly during field visits
Ensure operational capitalization (excluding technical capitalization) Ensure that original programmatic documents by country and by donor are archived in paper and electronic format
Respond to requests from the IDRU concerning capitalization on institutional donors
Produce documents and/or capitalization tools on ACF interventions by mission or geographic area in collaboration with the pool desk and other Program Support Officers
Participate in the management of human resources in the business sector Conduct technical recruitment interviews and correct tests for expatriates in the business sector
Provide reasoned technical feedback and opinions on a list of expatriates proposed to the mission for positions in the business sector
Act as functional referent for donor contract and reporting officers, assess their skills and development needs
Identify training needs, define and develop training materials, in conjunction with other Program Support Officers and/or Assistant Regional Operations Directors
Contribute to the definition and implementation of specific files Provide the Log/IS Department with information useful for carrying out information systems (IS) projects
Coordinate various cross-functional projects (operational partnerships, MEAL, NHF…)
Contribute to the training of field teams in terms of project cycle management and donor rules
Facilitate the exchange of information within the pool, with the missions and with other departments of ACF Headquarters
Profile:
You have experience in a similar role as a Grants Manager or Coordinator and with key donors (BHA, ECHO, GAC and ECHO).
Working in an international environment, fluency in English (both oral and written) is essential.
Conditions of employment
Status: Integrated Executive – 12-month fixed-term contract – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 36K to 41K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
