About: Action Against Hunger
Present in Ile de France and Marseille, ACF acts in France in a dynamic of support and complementarity with the actors in the fight against exclusion, poverty and inequalities. Our action is based on solid experience acquired internationally and aims to ensure food security for the most vulnerable. ACF works to characterize food security and to establish dignified access for all to sufficient, healthy and sustainable food.
ACF operates in France at 3 levels:
– At the level of actors involved in access to food: diagnoses of profiles and needs and support for changing operational methods
– At the level of territories: support for coordination and linking of actors for a multidimensional approach
– At the level of public policies: technical influence and advocacy work for the right to food
We are looking for a Program Coordinator, to guarantee the quality, relevance and innovation of Mission France programs by supporting and coordinating teams in definition, implementation and capitalization.

Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Country Director – France Mission, your role will be to:
Contribute to defining the mission strategy and its operational implementation
Analyze and monitor the context
Contribute to defining and implementing the operational strategy and the annual action plan, particularly on program and technical aspects
Contribute to monitoring and harmonizing the Mission France strategy with domestic programs and advocacy led by ACF in Europe
Coordinate the identification of needs, formulation of project proposals and framing of partnerships associated with projects
Coordinate the analysis of needs and feasibility studies for projects
Support project managers in framing and writing project proposals and revision
Participate in framing, disseminating and supporting the implementation of tools for defining and monitoring operational partnerships
Support the development of research projects and exploration of scientific and technical partnership modalities
Contribute to prospecting for donors
Support the implementation of projects and guarantee their quality and accountability
Coordinate, consolidate, develop, disseminate and implement in place project management tools and processes and SERA adapted to the activities carried out and the context of intervention
Provide support to project managers in the framing and deployment of projects and the issuance of operational and technical recommendations (and alert in the event of major difficulties)
Provide technical support to the teams and ensure the technical and legal compliance of programs (including GDPR) by coordinating relevant support
Ad hoc, directly supervise the preparation and deployment of projects with a national scope and including collaboration with research stakeholders
Ensure the quality of reporting and capitalization of projects and guarantee the coordination and internal circulation of learning
Participate in the representation and active participation of ACF in national and local external coordination and ensure the establishment and/or consolidation of national partnerships
Manage the teams
Profile:
You have a higher education at the Master 2 level, general (international relations, political science) or specialized in international development/humanitarian action management or in one of ACF’s areas of technical expertise.
You have at least 7-8 years of experience in the field of humanitarian or development project management, social aid and/or food democracy in France, with at least 4 years in coordination positions.
You have skills in mobilizing and leading a network of partners, as well as in internal mobilization of resources and capitalization for a change in practices and an adaptation of strategies.
You have already worked successfully in management and skills building, team support. You have excellent leadership skills.
You have a very good capacity for analysis, synthesis, strategic thinking and definition of positioning and representation.
You know and are interested in the political, economic and social context in France, as well as in the situation of people in great precariousness in France and in the interventions of associative actors targeting them.
Employment conditions
Status: Integrated Executive – 12-month fixed-term contract until 09/22/2025 – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 40K to 49K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 21 days of RTT
