About: Action Against Hunger
Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :
Under his supervision, you will assist the Territorial Project Manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of the 15th project in Marseille.
More specifically, your missions will be:
Contribute to the design, preparation, planning and implementation of project activities:
Participate in the development of partnerships and contribute to their structuring and formalization
Participate in the planning, preparation and facilitation of partnership and multi-stakeholder meetings
Write meeting minutes
Contribute to the design, implementation and management of partnership operational projects (solidarity market, cooking & tasting workshops, etc.)
Design and conduct surveys (reflection, development, coding, individual interviews, focus groups, participant observation, etc.)
Participate in the strategic reflections of the project
Contribute to the integration and deployment of volunteers: reception, training, planning, monitoring
Participate in monitoring the context and the project:
Carry out the literature review and update the mapping of stakeholders and partners in the intervention area.
Contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities such as information collection
Ensure the updating of project monitoring tools.
Contribute to the capitalization, reporting and advocacy efforts of the project:
Participate in the analysis of data collected during the project
Contribute to the writing of reports and dissemination of results.
Take part in the modeling efforts of the projects developed.
Contribute to the writing of reporting reports
Participate in the life of the Marseille base:
Participate in particular in base meetings and discussions with the rest of the France Mission.
Depending on the activities and needs, provide support on other projects of the Marseille base, those of the Resource pole in particular
Profile:
Currently in Master I or II, preferably in political science, human sciences, social action, social work, international, territorial, local development, you have developed skills in project management and have knowledge of French rights access systems. In addition, you are recognized for your writing skills and your mastery in collecting, analyzing and managing data on Excel.
Responsive and autonomous, you have in particular solid analysis and synthesis skills. You have a strong interpersonal and adaptation capacity, and thus know how to interact with various partners.
Experience in volunteering/associative involvement with people in precarious situations and/or exile is a plus.
Conditions of employment
Mandatory Condition: Have an internship agreement issued by a French law educational institution
Duration of the Internship: 6 months
Location: Marseille, PACA
Salary Conditions:
Internship compensated at the level of the minimum legal hourly gratuity (on a basis of 35 hours/week)
1.83 days of RTT per month (prorated to the time of presence in the organization)
Days of absence for exam, university research, etc.
Transport: 50% coverage of the package between home and the workplace
Meal vouchers: 60% coverage by the association for a value of 8 euros
of social works and reduction on cinema tickets
Teleworking:
Open to all and from the metropolitan territory, the teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring a mandatory presence time at the headquarters, and allows you to choose to exercise fully or partially the rest of this time by teleworking. To this end, a mandatory presence of 08 days per month at the headquarters has been defined for this position. Times spent at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events and 2 days of mandatory presence during the first 6 weeks when you join the team.
