Assignment :

Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Operations, your role will be to advise the Regional Director of Operations in the financial management of the region and to ensure the reliability of the accounting and financial management of the countries making up the region.
More specifically, your missions will be as follows:
Participate in the creation, implementation and readjustment of the region’s strategy, as well as in monitoring its financial situation.
Lead the process of creating the region’s financial strategy, its annual budget and its revision, in collaboration with the Regional Director of Operations.
Provide technical and strategic support in financial management to countries.
Provide decision-making support, advice, and proposed solutions to Finance Department Managers.
Ensure the quality of country budget management.
Guarantee the accounting compliance of missions.
Supervise the implementation of ACF procedures, formulate recommendations on corrective measures, and participate in their dissemination.
Contribute to the region’s action plans, operations and the development of financial management frameworks and policies.
Participate in the recruitment of your team members.
Organize and lead collective meetings and individual interviews (regular and exceptional) with your team members.
Develop and monitor individual action plans for your team members.

Profile:

With a Bac +5 qualification in finance and/or accounting, you have several experiences in finance in field coordination positions. Experience in finance within the headquarters of an NGO is a plus.
Dynamic and proactive, you master the challenges of financing in the humanitarian sector. With excellent interpersonal skills, you are able to work under pressure and adapt quickly to different issues.
You have a good command of IT tools and accounting software. An expert in Excel, you also have solid interpersonal skills. You have proven experience in team management, in a similar position.
Fluency in English is essential.

Conditions of employment

Status: Independent executive – Fixed-term contract – 12 months
Location: Ile-de-France
Remuneration: From 47K to 57K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 19 days of RTT
