Mission :

Under the supervision of the Epidemiology and Cost Effectiveness Research Officer, your role will be to contribute to the statistical and economic evaluation of ACF’s operational research projects.
More specifically, your missions will be as follows:
Support the economic evaluation of the TISA and SAM Cost projects.
Contribute to the collection of additional data in northern Senegal or extract data from scientific literature or existing databases.
Support the performance of statistical analyses and economic evaluations for other priority projects.
Contribute to the development of questionnaires and other data collection tools. Support the communication, dissemination and popularization activities of the results of the economic evaluations of the TISA and SAM Cost projects, both internally and externally.
Capitalize on and contribute to the continuous improvement of existing tools and procedures for medico-economic analyses.
Develop new adapted survey tools and improve existing tools.

Profile :

You hold a Master 2 in health economics, development economics, econometrics, statistics or epidemiology, with solid knowledge in economics. You have at least 6 months of professional experience in a similar position (including internships or work-study programs), during which you have carried out economic evaluations and in-depth statistical analyses.
Experience in the international solidarity sector is an asset.
You have good statistical expertise, with in-depth knowledge of health and development economics, particularly in relation to social protection. Previous experience in data collection in a Sahel country would also be appreciated.
You are proficient in data processing software such as STATA, SAS and/or R, and knowledge of the ODK data collection software is a plus.
You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Conditions of employment

Status: Supervisor – 6-month contract with a defined purpose – Full time
Location: Ile-de-France
Remuneration: From 34K to 41K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 21 days of RTT
