COOPI is looking for Senior Administrators for short missions
COOPI is looking for administrative profiles with proven experience who can make themselves available quickly, for short missions, in various countries . Pre-qualified candidates will be included in a permanent roster and will receive on-call assignments , after training on COOPI administrative procedures and tools.
The missions will take place in the countries where the projects are implemented and will have a variable duration, according to the objectives.
Responsibility
Responsibilities will be identified for each individual mission and formulated according to the priorities of the context. The areas of activity concern in general and not exhaustively:
- Supervision of administrative procedures;
- Economic and financial monitoring;
- Control of purchasing plan documentation;
- Reporting review;
- Support in the preparation of audits;
- Training of new staff.
Requirements required
Essential requirements
- Diploma in accounting, degree in economics or equivalent studies;
- Knowledge of the administrative procedures of the main donors (ECHO, USAID; EU, AICS, United Nations);
- Previous administrative experience gained abroad in international organizations with project financing;
- Experience in preparing financial and economic reports;
- Experience in project audits and spot checks of structures;
- Knowledge of French and/or English (minimum level B2);
- Ability to use accounting tools;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to relate positively with collaborators;
- Ability to organize the work of others by objectives;
- Consolidated experience of working in a multicultural environment.
Preferred requirements
- Knowledge of the Italian language;
- Previous experience in countries where COOPI is present;
- Previous experience with COOPI abroad.
