Focus on the Accounting Department

The Accounting Department consists of a team of 8 people. Join a young and dynamic team to show how fun accounting can be!

And the Accounting and Management Intern in all this?

As an Accounting and Management Intern, you will assist the Assistant Field Accounting Manager in his daily tasks and in monitoring the international missions for which he is responsible. You will work in collaboration with Field Accounting assistants.

Your role will be, mainly, to contribute to the work of inventory, compilation, translation and improvement of existing financial and accounting procedures (budget monitoring, donor sheets, calculation of an exchange rate, etc.), as well as ‘the monthly processing of SAGA accounting for missions (verification of documents brought back from the field and their correct allocation). You will monitor the correct allocation of funds, their eligibility and compliance with donor financial procedures, participate in the remote training of administrators in the field and during their visits to headquarters, as well as in the preparation of headquarters and field audits.

What you will need to land this internship

  • An Agreement issued by your training organization!
  • As such, you can prove that you have a higher diploma, minimum Bac+3 level in accounting/management.
  • Experience: Experience working in a team, in an associative environment and/or internationally will be valued.
  • Skills: You have a good foundation in accounting, very good writing skills in French and English, and are proficient in computers (notably Excel).
  • Required qualities: You have a proven interest in the International Solidarity sector. You demonstrate autonomy, rigor and logic, and have a sense of teamwork.
  • Languages: French and English have no secrets for you? So much the better, these are two essential languages ​​for this position!

PUI will offer you

  • Gratuity: €4.90/hour
  • Support: Support of up to 50% of the transport ticket and up to 60% of the Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €10)
  • Rest : 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
  • Days of writing a dissertation and/or internship report , if applicable
  • A flexible teleworking policy , based on three modalities.
