Focus on the Accounting Department

The Accounting Department is made up of 7 people. The mission of its members is to manage the general accounting of the headquarters and missions of the Association.

And the Accounting and Treasury Officer in all this?

As Accounting and Treasury Officer, you will be responsible for recording and monitoring the Association’s accounting as well as head office treasury operations.

To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:

Management: You will support and supervise the accounting assistant. You will be in charge of developing, monitoring and updating their individual action plan. And you will be in charge of conducting professional assessment interviews.

Treasury: You will be in charge of relations with the bank’s COMEX department. You will be in charge of preparing and monitoring France/International transfers, managing compliance, monitoring bank card payments and bank reconciliations. You will be in charge of identifying the monthly needs of the missions with the management department. You will be in charge of managing the cash register.

Accounting: You will be responsible for accounting, checking, tallying and matching entries, as well as charging bank charges. You will be in charge of classifying and archiving cash documents.

Monthly and annual closing: You participate in the analysis and justification of cash accounts and suspense accounts. You will participate in the analysis and justification of third-party accounts.

Other accounting tasks: You will be in charge of reviewing and improving accounting processes and managing headquarters invoices. You will be in charge of drafting monthly accounting closing procedures and developing head office accounting tools. You will support the accounting assistant for donor audits.

What you will need to succeed

Formation

You can provide proof of initial training (Bac+3/4) in accounting.

Experience

You have at least 1 year of experience in general accounting. Do you have experience in cost accounting? This is essential. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? This will be an undeniable asset!

SKILLS

Do you know the SAGE 100 software? This position is for you!

Required qualities

You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.

PUI will offer you

Status frame

Salary: 3000 EUR gross monthly over 12 months

Medical coverage: 80% of health and welfare mutual insurance

Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €9)

Rest : 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
