GENERAL CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is an international, independent medical-humanitarian organization that provides assistance to suffering populations, victims of natural or man-made disasters and victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, belief or political affiliation.

ENVIRONMENT AND GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
This position is located in the Membership Acquisition Service within the Fundraising department. Hierarchically, it reports to the Head of Membership and Donor Acquisition, and functionally, to the Head of the Digital Unit.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • ATTRACTING MEMBERS AND DONORS
    • Participate with the Digital Unit team in the identification and definition of fundraising department fundraising strategies, including the identification of objectives, audiences, channels, messages, etc.
    • Plan and implement the strategies defined in online channels, in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Officer, regarding marketing actions in online channels, defining objectives, KPIs, messages and audiences. This includes the acquisition of online partners, both own and through third parties (campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, lead telemarketing).
    • Plan and implement the launch of strategies in traditional and outdoor media, monitoring implementation and analyzing results.
    • Coordinate suppliers and agencies to implement digital media campaigns, from creativity and production to monitoring and analysis of results.
    • Negotiate the transfer of spaces, both online and offline, and centralize all information in a database. Manage the planning and implementation of advertising campaigns with space providers by transferring free spaces, to reinforce the visibility of the organization.
    • Responsible for building loyalty among advertising space contributors, with the aim of ensuring their participation in annual and emergency campaigns.
    • Ensure the quality of content in terms of messages, images, value proposition and calls to action, with an inclusive, diverse and equitable (DEI) approach, aligned with the organization’s values.
    • Identify new opportunities in the advertising market.
    • Coordinate the implementation of campaigns with the branch offices, if necessary.
    • During emergencies
    • Participate in the emergency working group and implement action protocols in the fundraising department.
    • Define, in coordination with the Digital Unit, fundraising actions for emergencies, from creativity to production, monitoring and optimization of campaigns to maximize income.
    • Coordinate the implementation of emergency actions and monitor the evolution of income to avoid overfunding situations.
  • ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES
    • Online store
    • Coordinate and execute sales campaigns aimed at both the social base, in collaboration with the Loyalty team, and cold audiences, and implement digital marketing campaigns for the online store.
    • Track online store sales and budgets.
    • Coordinate and follow up with the online store provider for developments, updates and improvements.
    • Solidarity initiatives and weddings
    • Coordinate solidarity initiatives carried out by third parties on behalf of the organization through online events or campaigns, designing new channels and projects for citizen participation.
    • Coordinate solidarity initiatives both online and offline, evaluating and approving collaboration proposals according to the organization’s fundraising principles.
    • Coordinate the suppliers that manage the online platform.
    • Monitor the execution of solidarity initiatives (agreements, authorizations, communication, use of image, sending of materials, administrative management) in coordination with the Member Services (SAS) teams. Monitor results to obtain insights that maximize impact, improve processes and optimize revenue.
    • Coordinate engagement actions, such as charity wedding cards and other materials, and coordinate activities with suppliers, dissemination, advertising, among others.
  • EXPLORATION, INNOVATION & INSIGHTS
    • Conduct periodic market research and benchmarking to analyze the competition and detect strategies, tactics and creative ideas that can inspire new ways to generate revenue while maximizing return on investment (ROI).
    • Develop new concepts and strategies together with the Digital Marketing Officer and with the support of the Digital Insight & Optimization Officer, to measure results and extract insights that foster a culture of testing, learning and continuous improvement.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Graduate in Business Administration, Business Management, etc. Specializing in marketing.
  • Knowledge of direct marketing and online marketing.
  • Experience in marketing, communications and PR departments.
  • Experience related to communication and event organization will be valued.
  • Experience in telemarketing, sales, and negotiation will be valued.
  • Knowledge/involvement and/or experience in the social sector (NGOs, associations, etc.) will be positively valued.
  • Experience in the field will be valued positively.
  • Knowledge of Spanish and English.

JOB CONDITIONS

  • Position based in any Doctors Without Borders office in Spain (Barcellona, ​​Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Bilbao).
  • 9-month contract to cover maternity leave in Spain.
  • Full-time.
  • Gross annual salary: €35,033 gross (spread over 12 monthly payments) + secondary benefits based on the MSF OCBA Compensation Policy.
  • Incorporation: early January 2025.
