Admin Assistant (50% part time role) until 31 December 2021 At IsraAID

SUMMARY. The Office Admin Assistant will assist the Finance and Admin Manager in assisting with all financial, accounting and administrative operations in the country office.
Responsible for all aspects of assisting the team with operational and administrative activities, and reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager on all tasks, issues and requests.

CONTEXT. IsraAID is a non-profit, non-governmental and apolitical humanitarian aid agency dedicated to supporting populations in crisis around the world, Founded in 2001. As of 2017, the organization has responded to crises in 50+ countries and has operations span across 17 countries and many different sectors of expertise from both the humanitarian aid and international development arenas.
IsraAID’s mission in Eswatini for the COVID vaccine rollout began in March 2021, with a growing and dynamic team now in place. The team members work with the Ministry of Health as well as other local partners towards a successful COVID-19 vaccination rollout program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job description:

  • Receive all cash payment slips
  • Check documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Record all petty cash payments
  • Submit payment requests approval and payment
  • Manage inventory levels for general office supplies
  • Attend to all food purchases required for the team/office
  • Manage phones and credits for phones; be a focal person for the team for this function

• Any other adhoc responsibilities given from time to time

Minimum requirements:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Accounting certification (AAT or any other)
• Previous admin assistant experience is an advantage
