Admin, Liaison & Logistics Officer ENA (Jordan) At Tearfund

Are you experienced in administration, Liaison and Logistics? Do you have a passion for supporting humanitarian programming across Eurasia and North Africa (ENA)?

We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for an Administration, Liaison, and Logistics Officer to join our lively and dynamic Eurasia & North Africa team.

The Admin, Liaison and Logistics officer will ensure that the ENA regional team has sufficient administration support, and that the regional office can function proficiently through the maintenance of important external liaison with key stakeholders. The position will coordinate and follow up on the strategic decision-making and planning processes in the ENA region. The position provides logistics support to the Tearfund Regional office based in Amman- Jordan.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Relevant Experience in Programme support, team administration and logistics
  • Experience of working in Eurasia and North Africa region for an international INGO in the field of logistics and office management
  • An understanding of Christian relief and development issues

The successful candidate must have:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills in Arabic and English
  • Good organisational and scheduling skills, ability to organise conferences and events.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to do multitasking and can perform in pressure
  • Ability to influence in a diplomatic manner
  • Ability to organise meetings and take accurate minutes
  • Attention to detail
  • Database management
  • Problem solving and Analytical skills
  • Well connected with Government, other agencies and groups in Jordan
