The structure :
Prison Insider is a platform for producing and disseminating information about prisons around the world. Its objective is to inform, compare and testify on the conditions of detention with regard to fundamental rights. Its work helps fight torture and prevent human rights violations. Prison Insider identifies and verifies available information; produces information, knowledge and skills and makes them accessible to as many people as possible (popularization, dissemination, translation, etc.). Prison Insider develops, mobilizes and leads a diverse network of actors involved around the world. Its purpose is to provide the means to act.
The duties of the position:
All tasks will be carried out under the responsibility of the director and in conjunction with the rest of the team.
- Administrative management
- Legislative monitoring (fiscal, legal, economic, social)
- Monitoring compliance with associative obligations
- Support for administrative and logistical tasks of projects (training and interventions, travel, etc.)
- Contact with financiers (submission of files, agreements, invoices, etc.)
- Administration of digital tools and IT equipment
- Human resources administration
- Organization of recruitment and integration processes
- Administration of employment contracts and agreements; payroll management; monitoring of working hours and leave
- Accounting and financial management
- General accounting, budgetary and cash management, monitoring of donations
- Cost accounting, financial reports, support for project setup/reporting
- Accounting and tax declarations, in conjunction with the accounting firm
- Strategic development
- Update and development of the administrative and financial strategy
- Support for financial sustainability (donation strategy, fundraising, etc.)
Required profile :
- Commitment to the defense of human rights
- Training in finance-accounting, management, human resources
- Significant experience related to the missions of the position
SKILLS :
- Very good command of IT and office tools (notably Pack Office)
- Good knowledge of accounting, financial management and management control
- Knowledge of legal provisions, association and labor law
- Perfect command of French, both written and spoken. Professional English
- Versatility, responsiveness and strength of proposal
- Great sense of organization, autonomy and rigor
- Teamwork and listening skills
