Sightsavers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant/Driver to provide support to our Zimbabwe country office.
The post holder will drive Sightsavers staff and visitors for project visits and will maintain the organisations vehicles, keep them clean, fuelled and report required repairs. The role also provides day-to-day administrative support including ensuring timely opening of the office and ensuring that all essential services (utilities, Internet, telephone), supplies, stationery and amenities are available to staff and visitors as needed and facilitates meetings (adequate amenities and takes minutes when requested).
Other duties will involve logistical support during workshops and field visits, including supporting the development of interesting case stories, and to maintain good communication with guests and staff,
The ideal candidate will have a diploma (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent. Have a certificate in Transport logistics, previous working experience for a reputable organisation, preferably with an INGO. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an advantage but not essential. You must hold a valid can clean driving licence, be computer literate and be fluent in English.
