Focus on our activities in DRC

Our mission in the DRC has existed since 2001. PUI is developing its integrated approach with projects in primary health and the fight against malnutrition. PUI works in Ituri with projects in health nutrition, and in North Kivu through an integrated approach in health emergency nutrition complemented by activities in food security.

And the.the Administrator· in all this?

As a ’ Transmitter Administrator, under the functional supervision of the/the Transmitter Financial Coordinator·, you will be responsible for sound financial management, including, accounting and budget of the base as well as the management of human resources, administrative and legal files of the base in compliance with PUI and donor procedures.

For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :

  • Financial, budgetary and accounting management : You will supervise the financial, accounting and budgetary management on the basis and you will ensure compliance with the related procedures, with the functional support of the/the· Financial Coordinator of the mission.
  • Management of human resources : You will supervise the activities of administrative management of human resources on the basis with the functional support of the/from the Mission’s HR or/the· Administrative and Financial Coordinator failing that.
  • Administrative management : You will supervise the administrative management on the basis and you will ensure compliance with the related procedures, with the’ functional support of the/the Mission’s· Financial Coordinator.
  • Coordination, Reporting and Representation : You will centralize and disseminate the’information within the database for everything related to the financial, administrative, administrative areas, legal and human resources and will participate in internal and external reporting in these same areas. You will represent the’association with partners, authorities and various local actors involved in the financial, administrative, legal and human resources areas of the base.
  • ’team management : You will supervise the’administrative and financial team of your base.

The challenges ahead of you:

1) Implementation of a financial management system for projects implemented on the basis, including training of support and program managers on the use of financial tools (OFU, LFU, FFU)

2) Implementation of a cash management plan, including a cash supply plan to avoid cash outages that could impact operations

3) Implementation of the recruitment plan to anticipate and mitigate the significant turnover in the area

4) Accompaniment of managers in the control of the staff assessment tool

What you will need to succeed

  • Formation : You can justify d’a higher degree (min. Bac + 3) in financial management. Training in human resources management and/or project management will also be appreciated.
  • Experience : You have at least two years of professional experience in a similar position and experience in the field of international solidarity. Have you worked with First International Emergency ? It will be an undeniable asset!
  • Skills : You have good skills in accounting management, financial management, human resources management, administration and management of’ team. Knowledge of institutional donor procedures (OFDA, CIAA, Humanitarian Fund etc.) and/or labour law will be a plus. In addition, you master the inevitable SAGA software.
  • Qualities required : You are able to work autonomously and to’assume responsibilities in a proactive approach by demonstrating’organization, rigor and’adaptability. You have a good spirit of’analysis, communication skills, management, as well as’a good resistance to stress.
  • Languages : French and’anglais have no secrets for you ? So much the better, it’is essential for this post ! If you also speak’arabe, this will be an undeniable asset.

  • Salaire brut mensuel: 2 190,00 – 2 420,00 EUR selon votre expérience en solidarité internationale + 50€ par semestre d’ancienneté avec PUI
