About the role
We are seeking a committed team member with a clear focus on team objectives, as well as your own. You will have experience of programme delivery and supporting the management of large and complex multi-country programmes. You are familiar with donor compliance processes and show a clear understanding of risk management and mitigation. You have strong financial analysis, budgeting and planning skills. You facilitate effective communication and coordination across functions and remotely. You are comfortable working in a matrix environment.
The Advisor Programmes will have strong programme management skills and some technical understanding on gender, SRHR, human rights and community health systems strengthening. Focus is given to ensuring donor compliance through the coordination of donor reporting, overall programme budget monitoring and revisions, the sub-granting process, as well as input into the end-of-year programme audit process.
Responsible for how financial, contractual, administrative and logistical aspects of donor funded programmes are managed. Responsible for review and analysis of programme narrative, financial and data reports. Comply with processes related to contract administration and compliance, including preparation of sub grant agreements, audit processes, consultant and procurement processes. Provide background research and support to the proposal development process. Responsible for tracking spend and ensuring deadlines are met. This role will include travel to the region to support delivery of programme activities.
