Agile Project Coordinator at Save the Children

We’re looking for a passionate Project Coordinator who is ready to join our energetic Supporter Engagement team. This is a great opportunity to learn or further develop project management and facilitation skills in an innovative environment.

Where you come in:
In this full-time permanent pos ition, based in Carlton, you’ll be a core contributor to the delivery of projects from within the Save the Children Australia’s Supporter Engagement portfolio, with a focus on fundraising and our retail network. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of diverse and interesting projects – making this role a terrific opportunity for a keen coordinator or project manager ready to take the next step in their career.
You will make an impact by:

  • Gathering and consolidating background information and requirements using collaborative workshops or written briefs
  • Assisting with the investigation into solutions and opportunities, considering risks, benefits and business impacts
  • Working with team members to plan out project tasks and create a roadmap (timeline) for delivery
  • Driving and monitoring delivery in line with the agreed roadmap
  • Coordinating and facilitating project team meetings including planning sessions, stand ups and reviews
  • Acting as a facilitator for project team members, supporting productivity, prioritisation and iterative delivery

This role requires:

  • Experience working as a Team Coordinator or Project Manager
  • Experience supporting the successful delivery of projects or initiatives
  • Strong skills in interpersonal communication, collaboration and facilitation
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, organising, and coordinating team members and resources
  • Exposure to and understanding of Agile project management principles
