Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a designated area within the organization.
- Directly supervising the field officers and ensuring that the activities are progressing as planned.
- Communicating with the program coordinator in Turkey and updating them on the activities, as well as bringing up any issues that could potentially impact the project’s results to the attention of relevant management.
- Planning and following up on all project implementations on the ground, ensuring that IR policies and procedures are followed.
- Ensuring that the standards for each project are applied as planned already through the preparation of the project after the discussion with the project coordinator.
- Providing leadership and guidance to a team of employees to ensure that goals are met and objectives are achieved.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s programs and services.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Managing and monitoring program budgets and resources.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Conducting performance evaluations of employees and providing coaching and feedback as needed.
- Assuring that team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate on the team.
- Providing regular reports to the management team.
- Any other related duties assigned by the line manager
Personal Specification (Experience / Education/Skills- Essential)
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- University degree in Business Administration or related study
- Strong communication, interpersonal & technical skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to take initiative if required.
- Ability to multi-task effectively as well as display professionalism and confidence.
- To be ready to work overtime.
- Able to work effectively under, & adapt to, difficult conditions
- Relevant work experience, preferably with an NGO
- Good report-writing skills
- Familiarity of monitoring & evaluation instruments & documents is preferable
- Excellent computer skills.
- Willingness & ability to travel within inside & outside the country
Language
- Arabic and English (written and spoken) is a must.
IT skills
- Very Good computer skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to use software necessary for project management and reporting. (Word and Excel are must)
