About: Action against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Assignment :
The coordinator will be responsible for supporting the country director in identifying internal and partner risks, and investigating complaints/concerns.
Under the responsibility of the country director, the missions will be as follows:
Identification and escalation of risks internally,
Raising awareness and dissemination of risk register procedures to colleagues, coordination to make the risk register operational,
Identification, escalation and management of risks concerning implementing partners,
Support to the Country Director to manage fraud investigations, and support for other mission investigations,
Management of internal audits and interdepartmental spot checks,
Coordination with the different departments for the internal audit exercise ,
Overall management of the compliance function across the mission,
Profile:
With a Bac +4/5 training in finance, you have the desired experience in an administrator/finance position,
You have knowledge of lessor rules,
You have proven experience in finance, logistics or human resources,
Experience in implementation audits/control system is a plus,
You have the ability and comfort to work in a volatile context with strong security pressures, as well as in a context with the presence of corruption and knowing how to remedy it,
You speak French fluently, a good level of English is a plus,
Terms of employment
12 months of fixed-term contract under French law
Gross monthly starting salary from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 720 euros (see eurocost) net, paid on the ground.
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year) 16% of gross monthly salary for retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.
Transport and accommodation: Travel support and collective accommodation
Medical Coverage: 100% of the payment of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year, 20 RTT per year and 215 euros paid during the recovery period
Training: Unlimited and free access to the Crossknowledge © certified e-learning platform
