Assignment :

Under the supervision of the Emergency Situation Monitoring, Systems and Analysis Officer, your main responsibility will be to monitor and analyze emergency contexts, contribute to the development and classification of emergency-related technical tools, and ensure the capitalization of good practices within the organization.
Plan deployments to our country offices.
More specifically, your missions will be as follows:

Supervise the analysis and monitoring of humanitarian contexts within the ERRU by developing the framework for its dissemination methods within the organization (headquarters and Country Offices).
Contribute to the development of communication tools, in particular via the emergency platform such as Power BI on NHF in conjunction with the IS (Information System) department.
Develop technical tools, including operational access/security for emergency teams.
Organize/supervise training for teams (according to obligations and needs), and thematic awareness sessions on access, security and safety.
In the event of deployment for security, coordinate the safety and security management system within the country office.
In the event of access deployment, contribute to the implementation of ACF’s humanitarian access strategy within the Country Office.
In the event of emergency response deployment, contribute to the deployment of operations.

Profile:

With a Master’s degree in the humanitarian sector, in Security, international relations, political science, sociology, or equivalent, you have a solid knowledge of humanitarian emergencies, how the coordination of humanitarian actors works, as well as the main emergency response activities (WASH, food security, cash transfers, health, nutrition, etc.). Field experience in MEAL, as a Program Manager or Field Coordinator, would be a real asset.
You have proven experience in emergency management and/or in managing access and security issues.
Autonomous and proactive, you know how to take initiatives in your work. You are proficient in analysis and writing summary documents.
Comfortable both orally and in writing, writing reports and leading meetings hold no secrets for you. You know how to manage several projects simultaneously, and your creativity allows you to propose relevant and adapted solutions.

Conditions of employment

Status: Integrated Executive – 8-month fixed-term contract – Full time
Location: ACF headquarters, IDF, Montreuil
Remuneration: From 41K to 50K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days per year of CP and 21 days of RTT
Health and welfare coverage: 80% covered by ACF

Teleworking: Teleworking open to all from the metropolitan area. No mandatory face-to-face work for this position, outside of collective face-to-face times. Collective face-to-face times imposed / also mandatory by the employer: for collective meetings and events (up to 3 days per month) and 2 days of mandatory presence when you join the team.
