Android Mobile Device Manager (MDM) Administrator At SoCha LLC

Background

SoCha LLC provides independent, verifiable primary data to USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) and its partners regarding the outputs, outcomes, progress, quality, challenges, successes and lessons learned from activities funded by BHA in Myanmar.

The project has the following objectives:

1. Establish a process to collect, synthesize, and analyze various data concerning BHA-funded programs.
2. Enhance BHA’s knowledge and oversight of ongoing programs through sharing of impartial, primary data.
3. Support BHA’s implementing partners’ monitoring and oversight of ongoing programs via coordination and sharing of impartial, primary data.
4. Expand BHA’s understanding of ongoing challenges and potential changes to Myanmar’s context with additional data and analysis.

SoCha is seeking a full-time, qualified individual to fill the role of Mobile Device Administrator. The position will be based in Yangon.

Scope of Work

• Oversee the deployment, installation, and maintenance of custom Android apps.
• Ensure all apps are updated regularly and are compatible with the latest Android OS versions.
• Monitor device compliance with company policies and security standards.
• Provide support for remote device management, including remote wipe, lock, and app deployment.
• Provide technical support for Android device users facing issues with custom apps or device functionalities.
• Diagnose and resolve app-related problems in collaboration with the development team.
• Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions for quick resolution.
• Test new app versions for compatibility and performance on Android devices.
• Coordinate with the QA team to ensure app stability and user experience.
• Work closely with the IT team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless app management and device performance.

Minimum qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience managing custom apps for Android devices.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as AirWatch, MS Intune or AirDroid.
• Proven track record of deploying and maintaining apps on Android devices.
• Strong knowledge of Android OS and its ecosystem.
• Knowledge of app testing and quality assurance best practices.
• Some experience in minimal app development or modifications for Android is preferred.
• Android Certified Application Developer or similar certifications would be a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
