Here’s where you come in:

As the Asset Management Specialist, you will support the efficient alignment of VisionFund International’s (VFI) financial resources behind the strategy and impact goals, including processes to manage VFI’s assets and liabilities, and liquidity and solvency monitoring across the global network of microfinance institutions.

You will report to the Global Asset Management Director and will work closely with the Investment Manager, Capital Markets, Risk and the Finance Operation teams. You will coordinate and interact with these individual/teams on a daily basis and will participate in projects that support the CFO’s priorities for the Finance department.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related quantitative discipline.
  • 5+ years direct financial analysis experience, ideally in banking or related investing or lending practices.
  • Demonstrated intercultural communication and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable with analyzing financial statements; accounting experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial markets
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Spanish is a plus.
  • Mostly remote working – have the ability to work from “home” with internet access and a place to conduct meetings remotely.
  • National/international travel anticipated up to 10% of the time and flexibility to communicate with colleagues in different time zones (email/skype/phone).
