Focus on the Operations Department
The Operations Department is made up of 30 people. The mission of its members is to deploy the Association’s strategy, implement projects and provide support to field teams.
And the Deputy Director of Operations in all this?
As Deputy to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the development and deployment of the operational strategy of the Association for the area under your responsibility, as well as the supervision of its implementation, in agreement with the statutory object and the charter of the Association.
The challenges that await you:
The structuring of the position and the positioning of the function within the organization; the redistribution of the mission portfolios of the geographic centers; the implementation of operational programming in increasingly complex contexts; the development of the organization’s multi-year strategy.
What you will need to succeed
Training
You can provide proof of a higher diploma (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in a field linked to humanitarian action: project management, technical training linked to one of our sectors of intervention, human resources management, financial management, etc.
Experience
You have similar experience at the headquarters of an NGO or at least 8 years of field experience in an international NGO, in project and team coordination in emergency or post-emergency contexts. Experience in managing projects funded by institutional donors is essential, as well as security management. Do you know the intervention areas? This will be greatly appreciated. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? This will be an undeniable asset!
SKILLS
You have very strong managerial skills including remote team management. You have excellent writing skills.
Required qualities
You have analytical and reflective skills and you consider yourself pragmatic. You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate leadership and the ability to make decisions, reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You are diplomatic and you have the ability and taste for negotiation. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.
LANGUAGES

Status frame
Salary: 4400 EUR gross monthly over 12 months, depending on experience
Medical coverage: 80% of health and welfare mutual insurance
Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €9)
Rest : 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month
