Title: Associate Officer, Cost Proposals

How will you fight for an AIDS-free generation?

The Associate Officer, Cost Proposals will be part of the Finance and Accounting department, reporting to the Cost Proposals Manager and work closely with the New Business Department to assist with the development of quality cost proposals including the budget, budget narrative, cost/price analysis of partner budgets, and coordination with the proposal and finance team members throughout the Foundation.

No two days are alike at EGPAF, but what can you expect in this role?

  • Assist with the development of cost proposals for new business and support ongoing projects including budget and budget narratives for US government and non-US government funders
  • Modify budget package templates to comply with donor requirements
  • Maintain the cost proposal template library and support documentation
  • Copyedit and format cost proposals to ensure the proposal meets EGPAF standards
  • Support field teams in updating budgets in conjunction with work plan submissions
  • Assist with the implementation of internal budget training and capacity building activities as needed
  • Support knowledge management by managing the finance intranet page and serving as the point of contact for internal communications
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Foundation policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be successful, you will have:

  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently with deadlines

Bonus points if you have:

  • Familiarity with the US bidding process
