Brand Manager, Latin American Foundation for the Future (LAFF)
LAFF is looking for an experienced Brand Manager to help us build our visual identity across all of our communications platforms. You will play a critical role in shaping LAFF’s outward image.
This position will combine your analytical skills and creativity to research LAFF’s current market positioning and respond to any dissonance or inconsistency. You will analyse our community’s relationship with LAFF and use these insights to inform our visual brand strategy, celebrating what makes us unique and promoting our core values. The guidelines you create will be used when creating campaigns and communication pieces.
If you have strong communications skills and can combine analysis with authenticity and ambition this is an opportunity to convey the progress and core values of an NGO which has been supporting local partners to deliver access to education in Peru for over 10 years.

About LAFF
The Latin American foundation for the Future (LAFF) is a UK-based charity supporting marginalised children and young people in Peru. We work through local partner organisations in Cusco and support activities and projects in the areas of formal education; vocational skills and personal development; sustainability, including income generation, cost reduction and capacity building. We strive to empower our beneficiaries enabling them to become independent and sustainable.
Objectives of this Role
- Research LAFF’s current brand position and its perception externally with our partners and supporters as well as internally at all levels of the organization
- Analyse your findings to identify LAFF’s USPs and whether our current brand identity maximises these
- Update LAFF’s current brand guidelines to inform our visual identity and communications going forwards, including the setting of style guides and creating templates
- Ensure that brand integrity is maintained across all organisation communications and campaigns
- Work closely with the communications team to devise a strategy for brand actualization across all platforms, including LAFF’s website and social media
- Redesign LAFF’s website according to the new brand guidelines
Skills and Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a related field (Communications, Marketing, Art) or currently enrolled
- Experience in community relationship management
- Experience formatting a range of visual media (social media posts, videos, reports) using programmes such as Adobe InDesign
- Proficient in iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Photoshop. Familiar or proficient in Canva
- Confident selecting and justifying different colour schemes and font types when designing content and templates for future use
- Strong understanding different social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to inform brand guidelines according to different audiences
- Methodical approach to work and ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Proactive individual able to work with flexibility to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Responsive to feedback and capacity to adapt designs accordingly
- Experience with web design is desirable

The Brand Manager will have strong communication skills and excellent relationship management. They have a hands-on attitude and will use their analytical skills to inform creative vision.
