The Opportunity
You will be an integral part of the dynamic Sierra Leone team, where the programming focusing on addressing lasting changes around women’s socio-economic and political empowerment and addressing the root causes of food security and climate change. The Business Development and Grants role is responsible for strengthening Trócaire Sierra Leone institutional funding base and ensuring donor compliance with existing and future funded institutional grants. This role requires a person that has excellent networking and communication skills and can work with partners, donors, staff and seek out exciting new opportunities.

You will report to the Country Director.The job opportunity will be offered on a fixed term contract for 2 years and is based in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The key responsibilities of this job will be to increase and broaden the institutional funding base in Sierra Leone country program in line with the organisational funding strategy This role will support the programme teams in the development of well-designed projects and programs for submission to the institutional donor and provide oversight and support to programme staff in the management of all institutional funding grants/contracts in Sierra Leone. The BCGM will build the capacity of the Sierra Leone programme staff and partners to manage existing and future institutional funding grants and contracts.
