Campaigns Manager (Asylum Reform Initiative) Location: Hybrid working from home and our London head office Contract type: Permanent Hours per week: 35 Salary: £48,344 per annum (Including inner London weighting allowance of £3,334)

About the initiative & opportunity**

The Asylum Reform Initiative (ARI) is an alliance of six national charities set up to collaborate more closely to secure long-term, deep change in the UK’s approach to asylum seekers and refugees, – including helping to incubate and launch the broader, public-facing Together with Refugees coalition which now has over 500 diverse national and local member groups. The ARI is hosted by the British Red Cross.

Our Campaigns Manager vacancy is a new and exciting opportunity to play a central role in developing and leading the implementation of the ambitious next phase of the ARI and Together with Refugees coalition campaign strategy, working closely with the rest of the central ARI team and campaigners across the coalition. The Campaigns Manager will lead on all aspects of public campaigning, grassroots organ ising, movement building, and coalition development to ensure strategy and action is creative, inclusive, and effective to help achieve the deep change we seek.

This role may be for you if…

  • You have a proven track record of successfully organising, mobilising, and campaigning
  • You can combine strategy, creative thinking and hands-on delivery of campaigns activity, steering collective work to strong, effective outcomes against long-term strategic goals
  • You have line management experience of staff and/or volunteers
  • You have strong project management and budget experience
  • You have strong communication skills and can produce high quality campaign communications materials for a range of audiences and channels
