Capacity Development Specialist at Malaria Consortium

Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Capacity Development Specialist to join our team in London, UK.

The Capacity Development Specialist will provide technical support and oversight to country offices in their capacity building and curriculum development efforts which have grown over the years. The position is based at the head office in London, UK.

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 10 years of field experience in a developing country with at least five years professional experience working at a senior level within the health sector supporting capacity building initiatives, including proficiency in adult learning techniques and approaches
• A post graduate degree in public health, health education or related field, clinical specialty additional certification in communicable or infectious disease
• Demonstrable past experience in curriculum and training material development
• Experience in training of health staff at all levels of the health system
• Experience coaching and mentoring senior staff within Ministries of Health
• Professional experience living and working in at least two African countries
