This is an entry level position best suited for fresh graduates interested in international development, research consulting, and/or business development. It is a global remote position meaning you be from anywhere, you can live and work anywhere, but you are responsible for getting there and being legal there. Talent is international, and we are looking for the best.
The Capture Assistant will help the Capture Manager, Director of Business Development, and the CEO in collecting, compiling, and sharing information regarding current or future opportunities. This can include, but is definitely not limited to:
- Reviewing RFPs and ToRs to develop compliance matrices to outline proposal writing processes
- Completing forms and annexes associated with proposals or bids
- Assisting in the drafting and review of various proposal components
- Formatting and updating staff and consultant CVs and summaries of past performance
- Conducting first line interviews and reference checks on consultants and researchers applying for project-specific opportunities
- Identifying and completing initial vetting of potential partner companies and subcontractors
- Managing our LinkedIn and other accounts on the internet and social media
This is a learning position. We don’t expect you to know a lot about consulting or development when you come in, but we expect you to be excited about learning about our company, industry and countries of operation. For the right candidate, this is a stepping stone position for advancement within Forcier to other business development and project management roles over time.
This is not a research position. If you are interested in research consulting, this may be a good role for you to gain a deeper understanding of our industry. However, you will not be working on research projects directly, nor will you be conducting fieldwork. You may be able to transition from this position to a research role within Forcier, however this may be limited for you as research roles are limited to nationals of the countries where we work.

Forcier isn’t the place for everyone. But for those who do find us to be a good fit, they can’t imagine being anywhere else. Our company operates with five immutable laws. If these don’t resonate with you, working with us probably won’t be a good fit for you. If they speak to you, you’ll find a new home with us.
- Be nice or leave. All our staff deserve to be treated professionally and with respect. Discrimination, racism, tribalism, sexism, and neo-colonialist language will not be tolerated. This applies to our clients as well.
- This is a stress free zone. The places where we work are stressful enough, we don’t need to add extra pressure. Increasing stress increases the likelihood of errors. We all work to minimize stress together.
- We embrace a strong work ethic and a strong rest ethic. We believe that balance is critical to long-term success. We all work together to avoid burnout on our teams and ensure that team members have the opportunity to frequently and regularly take complete time off. We recognize the needs for every team member may be unique depending on their individual circumstances.
- Safety first. We never put staff or partners in harm’s way for any reason, and we do not ask staff to go places or complete work with which they do not feel personally comfortable – for any reason.
- Quality is paramount. We stand behind the integrity of our work. We don’t cut corners and we deliver the absolute best product possible every single time, both internally and externally.
