CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE: The Case management team leader is a member of SC Iraq team. Under the technical supervision of the CP T the Case management team leader is responsible for case management and CPIMS+ admistration and capacity related activities in humanitarian and devolpment response as per the context in Iraq feeding into the transitioning strategy. She/he will ensure that it is consistent with Save the Children’s programming principles and approaches, draw on relevant best practices and lessons learned, enable children to attain their rights and ensures timely reporting to the CP Manager and ensures timely, adequate and quality monitored implementation of CP activities.
SCOPE OF ROLE: Reports to: FM/ CP TA Staff reporting to this post: non Role Dimensions: works closely with the CP, MHPSS, and data base officers , the CP coordinators, MEAL staff and National stakeholders and community members. The CPIMS Coordinator is directly coordinating support activities with logistics, HR and finance teams.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY : Program Planning And Implementation * Support SC and partners when applicable in generating timely, high quality data to inform program implementation and identify bottlenecks. Conduct data analysis workshops and generate reports/content to be regularly shared. * Provide programmatic support and follow up for the CP teams of SCI in Federal Iraq and KRI in rolling out the CPIMS plus and the transition from the database system to the CPIMS plus dashboard * Maintain regular contact with the CPIMS admistration and steering committee when applicable and and support the roll out of the CPIMS+ . * Insure to maintain the cababilites of users whithin SC and partners at different fields based on needs and report or help to resolve issues in the system with the system admistation as a focal point for SC and its partners teams. * Lease with IT to ensure PRIMERO application and Mobile Device management MDM is installed in all Tablets before assigning to users and maintain records. * Ensuring all cases within the system are appropriately coded and have the correct status (open, closed). * Provision of timely feedback on the system with precision to support fast response * Insure CPIMS+ data are correct and issues are identified reported and team are supported with data management. * Review the and monitor the Data protection protocol used and insure Provide Monthly reports on achievemnets , trends and challenges on case manageemnt to give feedbacks and improve the system used by SC and other partners.
Capacity building * Develop and implement annual capacity building plans through CP trainings in coordination with the CP senior staff(advicor, Manager and Coordinators) and project managers. * Train end-users on the use of the CPIMS+ with support of a technical case management focal points, including new agency and users and provide training and support to the in-country agency administrators (if relevant) * Contribute to fund raising within SCI to support CP AoR training plans in coordination with the sub-cluster coordinators. * Build the capacity of Child protection partners to effectively utilise the CPIMS for data management, case management and FTR * Provide strong data and information management and reporting of FTR processes based on key indicators of the programme and program SOPs when applicable. * Provide support to the organization and partner staff both in person and online. * Update quality assessment framework with the support of the TA, coordinators and managers
Monitoring and Reporting * Assist with monitoring all CP case management and CPIMS+ system against indicators data protection and quality benchmarks. * Ensure that all program data is properly and regularly collected, check data and ensure that it is logically presented to the Response Team. * Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports; * Participate in team reviews of results and program progress.
Collaboration and Representation * Regularly coordinator and collaborate with different CP actors and SC staff to strengthen programming and impact for children. * Represent SC and SC projects in different forums when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS * Four years of humanitarian or related work on Child Protection programming in emergencies. * MSc in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Public Health or related degree preferred. * Fluent in Arabic and English, While Kurdish is plus. * Expert knowledge of and experience of Child Protection case management in humanitarian or development contexts. * Advanced IT Skills * Good knowledge of child protection information management tools and systems * Knowledge of international standards and existing interagency guidance around Child Protection service provision. * Strong and practiced skills in developing and delivering trainings to multi-sectoral participants.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS * Proven ability to work as part of a team. * Strong understanding of the situation of children in the community and demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of children in the community. * Proven technical knowledge and skills in the field of Child Protection. * Strong experience in case management, and child protection interventions. * Strong organizational skills. * Proven skills including planning ad building capacities. * Ability to travel independently, including to rural communities and work long hours (within different areas in Iraq where SC is operating and depending on the needs)
