Focus on our activities in Poland
Our mission in Poland open in March 2022 in response to the ukrainian crisis. PUI quickly developed PSS and Protection activities and is looking to expand its response in the coming weeks.
What about the Cash and Voucher Coordinator ?
As Cash and Voucher Coordinator, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the mission’s operational Cash and Voucher strategy as well as for the quality of current and future Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) programmes throughout the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation phases. You will build the capacity of the mission, provide technical support to the project teams and in particular to the emergency team via a functional relationship. You will represent PUI in front of consortium partners, authorities, humanitarian actors and donors.
For this purpose, you will be responsible for :
Context analysis / Strategy / Development : You will participate in the development of the operational strategy regarding cash and voucher, and contribute to the design of new relevant interventions on the mission based on the identified multi sectoral needs in the country. In coordination with the CVA team, you will monitor Cash and Voucher activities in the country and analyse their strengths and weaknesses. You will actively participate in the design and implementation of multi pupose cash assistance as well as cash used in specific sectors.
Programmes quality: You will provide technical support in your field of expertise to the programme teams, in particular to the Programme Managers, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of the mission programming.
Representation / Coordination: You will ensure PUI’s external representation for the FNSL sector to partners, donors, national authorities and local actors. You will represent PUI in the FNSL Cluster / FNSL sector coordination group meetings. You will contribute to the good information sharing within the FNSL sector.
Human Resources / Training: You will provide technical support to the project teams and in particular to the FNSL teams. You will provide support to the project managers for the recruitment of technical staff in FNSL. Working alongside the Head of Mission (HoM) and/or the Deputy HoM for Programs and the HQ FNSL Advisor, you will identify key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and gaps within FNSL department. You will supervise the content of FNSL training and the quality of FNSL activities on the basis of identified needs.
Logistics and Administration: You will ensure the teams under your responsibility follow logistic and administrative procedures and keep the logistic and administrative departments informed of any relevant developments.
Security : You will contribute to the compliance with security rules on the mission and share all information related to security to your line manager and/or to the mission’s security manager.
The challenges that await you :
PUI response is evolving to adapt to the context, which includes a diversification of intervention modalities. The Cash and Voucher Coordinator will work closely with the other Technical Coordinators to develop the cash intervention for protection and shelter. Additionaly a strong analysis of the context will be required to coordinate with other actors and integrate the intervention within the existing cash assistance provided through other mechanisms.
What you will need to succeed
Training
You hold a Bachelor/Master degree in social science, program management or any related topic.
Experience
You have minimum 2 years of experience in project management in emergency contexts, and you are experienced in cash and/or voucher modality. An experience in a similar field and with cluster, RLH, donors will be appreciated. You already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? It would be a definite asset!
Skills
You demonstrate strong organisational, representation and communications skills. You have a proven knowledge of cash transfer programmes, as well as previous experience working with main humanitarian donors. Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis will be appreciated.
Qualities
You demonstrate an ability to take initiatives and responsibilities. You have a sense of diplomacy and negotiation, good analytical and judgmental skills and you are pragmatic. You demonstrate good organization, management of priorities, an ability to adapt and to delegate. You have the sense of commitment and ethics. You have a good resistance to stress.
Languages
English has no secrets for you! All the better, it is mandatory for this position.

PUI will offer you
Status : Cadre with a Fixed-Term Contract
Monthly Gross Income : 2 650,00 – 3 130,00 EUR depending on your experience in International Solidarity + 50€ per semester of seniority with PUI
Insurance including medical coverage and complementary healthcare, 24/24 assistance and repatriation
Housing
Daily Living Expenses (“Per Diem”)
Break Policy : 5 working days at 3 months
Paid Leaves Policy : 5 weeks of paid leaves per year
