Location: UK Flexible (hybrid role working between home and office)
Contract Type: 12-month fixed term contract
Hours per week: 35
Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per annum (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,344 where applicable)

We are recruiting a Change Manager to join our team and be an integral part of our transformation journey to support our staff and volunteers through the changes ahead.
This role has organisation-wide impact working alongside programme and project managers to develop and deliver people-centred change management pla ns for complex transformation that facilitate line-led change and enable those impacted to understand, embrace, and adopt the change.
About this opportunity…
The British Red Cross is embarking on an evolutionary transformation journey to become Fit for the Future. As part of the Fit for the Future core team the successful candidate will be responsible for the people focussed element of transformation for one or more components of the programme.
Working alongside business leads and sponsors, programme/projects managers, and where appropriate other specialists (e.g. internal engagement, HR, Learning & Organisational Development), they will develop and deliver people-centred change management plans that facilitate line-led change and enable those impacted to understand, embrace, adopt and sustain the change.
This role might be for you if you can…
Support business leads and spons ors to analyse and devise strategies to proactively manage the people-related impacts of transformation.
Translate high level strategies into structured change management plans – ensuring alignment with the programme change strategy and integration with the programme/project/workstream plan.
Manage delivery of change management activities, provide anecdotal and formal intelligence about issues and challenges, and respond positively and quickly to iterate change plans.
Advise, coach and support leaders, managers, and programme/project management colleagues in all relevant aspects of change leadership and change management to enable a line-led approach to change.
Plan and deliver transition support to embed programme/project/workstream outputs into “business as usual”.
Contribute to programme level change activities in line with the agreed change strategy, for example, mobilising and managing a change network to fa cilitate line led change and building and maintaining an aggregate programme level view of the change.
Play an active role in strengthening the organisation’s change capability.
