One Happy Family (OHF) is looking for a Co-Coordinator to join our team in Athens, Greece and support the development and continuation of our work with people on the move.
Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
- As Co-Coordinator, you share the main responsibility and management of OHF in Greece, hold regular meetings with OHF Boards in Switzerland and Germany and take an important role in the further development of the project.
Volunteer Coordination
- You recruit and onboard volunteers, coordinate their work on site, be responsible for their well-being and identify the needs for and organize staff training.
Partner coordination and external collaboration
- You are the focal point for the partner organizations.
- You lead the selection of the partner organizations and establishment of the partnerships, have the oversight of the space allocations and maintain partner related documentation.
- To ensure good collaboration within the Community Center, you hold regular 1:1 and group meetings as well as theme-specific ones, team events and activities.
- You coordinate the organization of collaborative events with the involvement of partner organizations.
- You are the first point of contact for external organizations and represent OHF in matters of external collaborations.
Admin and Finances
- In close collaboration with our Admin Manager as well as the boards of OHF Switzerland and Germany, you are responsible for preparing budgets, monitoring financial expenditures and reporting to donors.
- You oversee the update of our microsite and OHF App, take care of several general admin-tasks and maintain our QMS in accordance with ISO requirements.
- You support the fundraising manager with information, data and guidance.
Qualifications
- At least 25 years old.
- Language: Fluent in verbal and written English. Fluency in Greek is highly desirable. Additional languages like Farsi, Arabic, French or German are desirable but not necessary.
- Proven coordination experience preferably with a grassroot organization.
- Work experience in a refugee context is an advantage.
- Able to work in a challenging and dynamic work environment.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Flexible, intuitive and proactive approach to work.
- Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
- Financial understanding, resourcefulness and strategic thinking.
- Good knowledge of programs like Word, Excel, Google Workspace apps.
