About the role

Working as part of the administrative team and reporting to the Admin Assistant this internship offers opportunity to acquire knowledge and gain further experience in Communication and Administration skills within an INGO.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong content creation, graphic design, social media skills and administrative support knowledge to join the team on an internship and gain further experience within international development.

Key accountabilities but not limited to:

  • Drafting and editing content for communication purposes
  • Attending team meetings and contributing ideas to improve communication processes
  • Assisting in preparing reports, presentations
  • Responsible for filing, data entry, petty cash handling
  • Field phone calls, emails, greet visitors
  • Support filing of all administrative records in the appropriate folders to facilitate easy reference and retrieval when necessary
  • Support event management and workshops internally and externally
  • Support the team in the logistics for activity preparation and travel

About you

The ideal candidate will have an active interest in international development with knowledge within communication and administration. They will hold a qualification in communication or business administration or have previous work experience in a similar role. Strong Microsoft Excel working knowledge is desirable with good written and spoken English and French. Current and ongoing right to work in Cameroon is essential.

This will be a one stage recruitment process. We intend to conduct face to face interviews at the Cameroon country office in Yaounde from 26 February 2025 onwards. The interview will be on site and last up to 45 minutes.
