Here’s where you come in:

As Communications and Social Media Specialist, you will:

  • support the Advocacy and Communications department in the Middle East/Eastern Europe Regional Office (MEERO) with communications and social media strategy, content, activities, engagement and monitoring.
  • manage and build World Vision MEERO’s reputation through external communications and community engagement by connecting with and activating various regional and global audiences, including the general public.
  • support and monitor the achievement of communications objectives at Field Office (FO) and Regional Office (RO) level.

Requirements include:

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree in Humanitarian Aid, International Development, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Social Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2–3 years of work experience in communications, public or external engagement, social media initiatives, or related field.
  • Understanding of humanitarian relief, recovery, and development work across all contexts.
  • Understanding and experience with all social media platforms, including posting, engaging and tracking analytics.
  • Fluency in computer programmes (such as Word, Excel, Power Point) and knowledgeable on video editing and use of design platforms, such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere.
  • English written and spoken fluency, required.
  • The position is based in any country within MEER where WVI is registered to operate.
