Communications Consultant At International Alert

International Alert requires a communications consultant to project manage the production of publications, working closely with our programme teams in London or our country offices. They will manage supplier relations, coordinating translators, designers, editors, photographers, etc as required. They will ensure quality control at each stage of the production process through to final sign-off and coordinate dissemination planning including drafting key messages for use on social media.

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role before, have an eye for detail and accuracy, and have the ability to manage a workload that will often include multiple projects. Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or InDesign will be a distinct advantage.

The appointed consultant will initially be contracted for eight weeks, with the possibility of extension. The consultant will provide two days a week of support from 30 August to 30 October. Anything beyond this can be agreed in writing in advance.
