Communications Officer (Brand and PR) At Oxfam GB

We are looking for a Communications Officer at a pivotal time of transition and change for the organisation

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will assist with research, implementation and updating of messaging frameworks; organise internal communications to explain our brand story and guidelines; support the PR team during periods of key activity and assist other colleagues as required.

An ideal candidate for the role will also have/ be:

  • Organisational & time management (Able to work in an organised way, to plan own time, and adapt and prioritise work to meet deadlines)
  • Communication skills (Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt message style and content according to audience, builds rapport)
  • Project management (Some experience of managing projects, including tracking progress against targets)
  • Team Working (Collaborates with others and work as part of a team)
  • Manages own workload without close supervision and works independently on making decisions and problem solving on routine issues/problems.
  • Provides creative/ innovative solutions to routine problems/ tasks and projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to anti-racism and feminism
