The French Red Cross (CRF)’s mission is to help people in difficulty in France and abroad.
MISSION 1: CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE POOL OF EMERGENCY INTERVENTION TEAM MEMBERS (RR – Rapid Response)
- Benchmark on the management methods of Rapid Response (RR) profiles with other National Societies (NS) of the Red Cross Movement
- Drafting and updating the RR candidate guide
- Definition of the training course for RR team members (IFRC course – International Federation of the Red Cross and specific CRF training)
- RR pool animation actions
- Support system for initial deployments (peer to peer, mentoring, etc.)
- Implementation of the Molnix tool for pool management (with the International HR Dept.)
- Definition of the terms of development of a regional pool to integrate non-resident profiles in France
- Harmonization of the classification and archiving of application files and team members in coordination with the International HR Dept.
- Organization and coordination of RR recruitment (in conjunction with the International HR Dept. and technical representatives)
MISSION 2: ENSURE THE ANIMATION OF THE POOL OF RESPONSE TEAMS
- Develop communication media
- Coordinate events related to network animation
- Contribute and improve the animation strategy
- Organization and hosting of events (in person and remotely)
- Moderation of communication spaces
MISSION 3: ENSURE THE ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT OF THE CENTER AND THE EMERGENCY TREATMENT POOLS
- Management of individual files of ERU/RR Teams
- Monitoring of ERU and RR according to contact method
- Administrative management
MISSION 4: SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION OF TEAM DEPLOYMENT
- Ensure the link with ERU referents, coordination of the operation, applicants and the global pool during deployment
- Contact point for volunteers
- Ensure administrative management of the deployment in conjunction with HR
- Ensure regular monitoring of volunteers deployed in the field on HR aspects in collaboration with the operation coordinator where applicable and the ERU/RR referents
MISSION 5: PARTICIPATE IN THE GLOBAL CYCLE OF INTERNATIONAL CRISIS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND ITS PERI-OPERATIONAL MISSIONS
- Development and updating of procedures and intervention plans
- Participate in raising awareness among various departments and partners
- Participate in organized training activities
Education: Level 6 or 7 university degree in HR, communications, project management or equivalent
Experience: community/volunteer network management and HR administrative management
Technical Skills: Mastery of digital communication tools and community management platforms; Skills in organizing face-to-face and remote events; Excellent planning, organization and priority management skills; Knowledge of recruitment and administrative staff management processes; mastery of IT tools (mastery of Google Workspace would be an asset)
Personal Skills: excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders; organizational skills, rigor and autonomy; Proactivity; Ability to adapt; Sensitivity to humanitarian issues and the values of the Red Cross; Autonomy; Ability to work dynamic schedules, occasionally on weekends
Languages: fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
