Context

Impact Health Africa (ISA) is a non-governmental organization based in Cameroon whose main objective is to contribute to the improvement of the health of populations by setting up transformative and sustainable programs (for more information’, more information, visit www.impactsante.org). As part of the « project Equity Access Palu » funded by l’Initiative over a 3 year period (06 November 2023 – 31 October 2026) renewable, this project aims to strengthening’community engagement in the fight against malaria. ISA is looking for Computer scientist – Reporting and monitoring and evaluation officer based in Yaounde.

Responsibilities :

Under the supervision of the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager, He / she will make sure of :

  • Co-develop the project’s S&E plan, including the indicator monitoring matrix, in accordance with ISA standards and practices ;
  • Ensure the implementation of the project’s S&E plan, while ensuring the application of data quality standards ;
  • Contribute to implementing and ensuring the proper functioning of the project monitoring & evaluation system
  • Generate an information management plan and capitalize on learning ;
  • Produce high quality quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports according to the lessor’s standards and procedures ;
  • Actively participate in the application of Quality Assurance measures ( AQ ), Quality Control ( CQ ) and Quality Improvement measures ( AQ ) for projects.
  • Support the other members of the project in capturing and documenting best practices and successes for learning, reference and dissemination.
  • Co-facilitate data analysis and use validation and action planning meetings with project teams and the steering committee to review data trends and performance overall project.
  • Prepare conceptual study documents and Co – develop the design of studies and data collection tools
  • Supervise agent training and data collection ;
  • Supervise data collection activities ;
  • Maintain follow-up to the key action points agreed at the review meetings and disseminate progress in implementation.
  • Any other task assigned to the project.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum level Master in public health, bio statistics, demography, computer science
  • At least 4 years experience in the field.
  • Ability to work in an international/multicultural environment, and with institutional organizations.
  • Positive and dynamic attitude ;
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work and the work of others ;
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to write and speak French fluently.
