Construction Engineer At UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East

Implements and supervises all construction projects in all technical and financial aspects.
Carries out post contract administration duties, assesses quantities, cost estimates for
documentation of interim and final payment certificates, and cost control.
Assists the Field Technical Officer in the preparation of site surveys and soil tests, assess
existing building conditions, briefs consultants, and discusses plans and designs.
Keeps records of budget expenditure on construction projects.
Is responsible for project follow up including site handover, schedule, re-measurement,
quality control, variation order, carrying out regular site visits and site meetings.
Supervises resident site engineers including their training.
Prepares monthly progress report.
Performs such other duties as may be assigned
