CALP is seeking two certified trainers with experience in facilitating face-to-face training of trainers to deliver the “Cash Transfer Core Competencies for Program Staff” training of trainers on behalf of CALP to humanitarian practitioners in West and Central Africa. CALP’s goal is to contribute to adding to the cohort of certified French-speaking trainers in the region.
The training is expected to start on February 24, 2025 for 5 days, but planning will rather start in the same month. As such, the consultancy is expected to start with preparation the week of February 10, 2025 at the latest. All activities of this consultancy are expected to be completed by March 16, 2025 with the submission of the report with feedbacks attached to the participants to the consultancy focal point.
During the delivery of this training, trainers are expected to organize and distribute tasks and responsibilities with the training participants: the sessions to be facilitated between trainers and participants, the evaluation process of participants. In addition, trainers are expected to communicate regularly with the CALP team in West and Central Africa throughout the duration of the consultancy. Consultants hired for these terms of reference will each be allocated 9 days of consultancy.
Essential profile of consultants For this job, CALP is looking for the following expertise:
• Experience in facilitating a CALP training of trainers face-to-face or online will be a great asset;
• Preferably having delivered at least one CALP “Basic TM Skills for Program Staff” training for program staff and be very familiar with the material; •
Demonstrate the capacity to certify future trainers;
• Have experience in planning and delivering high quality training related to cash transfers;
• Strong interactive facilitation skills and a dynamic and adaptive pedagogical approach to ensure that learning remains relevant to the evolution of programming;
• Have fluency in French.

• Visa fees if applicable for the consultant traveling to Senegal;
• Place of departure (country) at the time of travel to Senegal if the candidate has been selected.
