- OBJECTIVE(S) OF THE MISSION
Under the guidance of HI’s Global Inclusive Education Specialist, through working collaboratively
with the Technical Unit Manager MyTh, Technical and MEAL Unit, and IE Myanmar project team,
the Consultant on IE is responsible for leading and providing a technical review and support on
the development and adaptation of learning materials through an inclusion lens. - METHDOLOGY
The general approach, the materials to be reviewed has been decided by HI’s IE team. HI will
provide package of materials of to be reviewed to the consultant. During the consultancy period,
provision of technical inputs and advices to education actors and project team, and leading on
development of one inclusive learning material is expected to be accomplished. - EXPECTED RESULTS
Through this consultancy, HI seeks to receive following services;
1) Review existing and developing learning materials and provide realistic and relevant
technical recommendation through the inclusion lens
2) Provide help-desk services: technical support and consultations to Education Cluster and
Education actors based on requests and identified needs (a capped amount of time due to
the other priorities, and only if this is required during this period)
3) Provide technical support to IE project team on development of inclusive adapted learning
materials This should include the development of learning materials (e.g., animationmovies/radio segments on social and emotional learning _SEL) with accessible
characteristics)- DELIVERABLES
1) Inception report including plans with detailed approaches and work plan related to
expected results which will be validated by the HI steering committee
2) Deliver a minimum three SEL scripts for the radio segments as the components of open
learning resources for the children of primary aged students.
3) Final report (20 pages maximum) in English of services provided including process and
achievements, key recommendations and challenges. HI will provide comments if needed
for the consultant to finalize and adjust the report. - TIMELINE
The duration of consultancy services is 20 working days it will be effective starting from 28th April - BUDGET
The applicant shall provide a detailed financial offer including all costs related to this consultancy
with detail breakdown including taxes. HI will not cover any additional payments that are not
included in proposal.
