The Programme Delivery Department is at the heart of CARE International UK’s work. The department works closely with CARE’s country offices around the world to deliver top-quality humanitarian and development work that helps to achieve CARE’s 2030 Vision and impact goals, in particular in the areas of disaster relief, girls’ education and climate justice. This role will work across the department’s two teams (programme management and programme funding) on a range of internal initiatives and projects, with the opportunity to understand humanitarian and development issues pertaining to a global portfolio.

About you

We are looking for someone with excellent grant management skills, with a high attention to detail, able to multitask and work under pressure, and a professionalism to deliver quality work in a timely and accurate manner. An ability to quickly form effective relationships with our country offices and internal teams within CARE will allow you to shine in this role.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to take on an exciting role within the Programme Delivery Department/Program management team. The team is looking for a talented individual to support our portfolio projects through excellent contract and finance management. You will have knowledge of donor compliance and financial donor reporting and will provide integrated contract, financial and compliance expertise throughout the project cycle: from funding proposals, project set up to reporting and close out. Experience is charity accounting is desirable. **
